Do you have an excess of kitchen gadgets? I sure do. Meat hammer, pitter, can and wine opener, scissors, melon-baller, basting brush, etc. I love cooking, so I need it all.
But where do we keep them? Where is that thing when you need it? The container I had my products in wasn’t big enough and I was about to go to the store, when I spotted my favorite pitcher that I hardly use. Hmm…. could that work? I tried it, and they fit perfectly.
It’s big enough for all my gadgets and gizmos, looks pretty and makes cooking easy! I love having everything at my fingertips because sometimes you don’t plan on needing it- cooking just happens organically and if you want to do something in the middle of it, you don’t have time to waste. I don’t want to burn my food because I’m digging around looking for my zester because I decided last minute that some orange zest was just what it needed.
I encourage you to pick out one of your favorite pitchers that is infrequently used (you know you have one.. or three!) Cooking is like doing art- an artist needs all their tools to get creative in the moment because if they stopped their creative flow to stop and look for something, the moments gone.
So put your kitchen tools in a beautiful pitcher and you’ll never have to wonder where that olive-pitter is the next time you make your famous kalamata olive tapenade.
